Christmas Fair

Well this weekend I decided to do a Christmas Fair. I have spent the week making lots of items to suit pocket money prices for the children. I made notebooks, folder handbag calenders for nannies, post-it note books, keyrings, phone charms and bracelets. I had a box of Christmas cards from last year I hadn't needed so they went in too. They all sold out and I sold a lot of the other stuff too

I am disappointed it didn't all sell but it was a good afternoon and it was nice to see Santa before he started hs busy time of year !!

Here are a few pics they are not that clear as I forgot my camera so had to use my phone. See I have my own little helper, my OH came to help me and I think he enjoyed himself :-) Thanks Gerry

Cirle Album Link

I have been asked a few times for the link to Utube where it can be found so HERE it is. They are easy to make and everyone seems to love them so ideal as a Christmas Gift. If you have Cricut cutting the circles is a dream if not well I guess you have your own methods for circles. I have made from teeny tiny 3 inch circle to big 11 3/4inch (biggest you can get on an expression) and they all look good. The bigger the better if you have lots of pics.

My version of the instructions, written and saved as a "Word Doc" you can print these off which may be of help
Any problems message me with your email and I will send you the file
thanks

Busy Busy :-(

Oh my goodness its been mad round here so much to do so little time!!

I have not had much time to get any crafting done over the weekend due to house guests, don't they know Christmas is coming and I have things to make. Only kidding its great to have people to call an excuse to make and eat cake :-)
I did make a little Birthday/Address book for my sister for Christmas and I have also tried turning my hand to a little beading. I have bad hands but I managed to make a few bits for the Christmas Stockings and tree.

The Birthday Book is mainly computer generated design, I made the pages and calender with Word and printed onto fine card. The board is covered with K & CO paper and Tim Holtz Grungeboard embellishments made the closure. That is such great stuff I just love the feel of it and its so versatile. I just need to add a Title Holder and add some wording to that and its finished but here it is so far.

Instructions and files for the address book can be found here:

The Tree Ornaments are pre-bought Star shaped wires threaded up with beads and glued. The Handbag charms are just a little idea for the girls to have as an extra, hope they like them.

First Birthday

My OH's godson has his First Birthday on Friday and he asked me to make a card for him. I also made a little (well 12" x 12") Album they can put a few photo's of the day in. I hope they like it even though my Bind-it All had a "moment" and decided to shoot the cover out of line. Oh well as they say its the thought that counts. I have left the inside pretty much blank for them to do just added a few photo mounts and a couple of birthday embellishment to the inside front cover.
I just love the K & Co Nanna's Kids Papers, I adore the girl version but till one of my daughters blesses me with a grand-daughter will have to wait for that colour pad :-)

OMG

Never in a million years did I think I would make a pink Christmas Card but here goes, if I though I was out of my comfort zone before I am on a different planet now!! lol Now its done I actually quite like it, but my house decorations will faithfully remain in traditional colours of Red and Gold.

Bonfire Night

Oh what a night, we had a Bonfire Party last night but gosh was it windy and then came the rain. Such a shame as we were looking forward to it but we did manage to have our fireworks before the rain started so thats good. It took forever to get warm after but a nice hot shower and a big cuddly dressing gown came to the rescue, shame as the fire was blazing just too wet to stand and enjoy it.
The colours in that fire were amazing, blues greens and oranges they would have made some great cards, maybe I will use them next year. I need a better camera as I couldn't get any shots of the fireworks themselves they are so hard to capture on film and would also have made great cards.
I made some Spicy Parsnip Soup and Hotdogs to feed the party and a few Toffee Apples for the children. We had a good night just a shame the weather let us down.

Oh my goodness an award

I am so "chuffed" to recieve this award, gosh I feel like I am at the Oscars :-) I would like to thank Jane for giving it to me I am very grateful. I am trying to work out what I need to do now so any help appreciated :-(

The Blogs I award are
Shelly
Dawn
Goin Buggy
Regina
Lisa

I find so many places an inspiration and sharing with other crafters is a joy and honour. I think we all like to be appreciated for what we do so "Pay It Forward" and nominate your favourite sites too.

Fantasy

I

Fantasy by Penny Black. I saw this stamp in a magazine and I just had to get it but now I have it I am not sure how to go with it. I played last night but its not quite what I want to achieve. I wanted a more fantasy look and I think its because Ihave gone for a dark background so I wil play again using lighter colours. This is what I managed last night, sorry but the glitter and shine doesn't photograph very well

waste not want not

I had a bunch of pieces left over from my Basic Grey after making the cuts on the Cricut. Rather than throw them away I though I would use the to piece together a background. I brought them all together by tearing the edges and using one colour to ink the edges to make them all a uniform design. Here is the result let me know what you think of it thanks. Oh and a couple more cards from the excess
