I made this little MDF heart for my craftroom and it was easy to do
- Take an MDF shape it doesn't have to be a heart but it works well for this. Paint it with an acrylic paint and leave to dry you can then stamp a design on or alternatively you can cover with a pattern paper as I have.
- cover the surface with clear embossing ink and dip into clear embossing powder, the thicker one is better to get texture. Heat it to melt and add another layer while molten to give more texture. You can sprinkle in glitter or mica powder at this melted stage for more interest.
- Follow these steps with the other shapes, I used a tree, mushrooms a bird and the word family
- stick these on with hot glue or glossy accents and add a ribbon for hanging
