Leftovers

When you buy the packs of Basic Grey collections you always get a sheet of letters or diecuts etc in there. I had 2 sheets one from Blush and one from Infuse (tags and flowers). I never use these they just sit around gathering dust :-( so my challenge to myself today was to use them up. I took two sheets of brown cardstock, some gems and stickles, ribbon and distress inks and my favourite Personal Impressions Swirl stamp sets. I made it all up into, one card topper, some small note cards and a few gift tags and these are the results.

Tomorrow my friend is coming to "play" and we are trying out our new Metal Craft Tools by Walnut Hollow. I decided to get ahead and made a couple of sketches of what I want to try making with mine. No surprises that it has a Halloween Theme. I plan to do this as a Canvas wall mount using metal, embossing, freehand drawing, inks etc. Please call back soon to see if I managed to make anything that looks like the sketch :-)
