On my Soapbox!!

Sorry for the title but I couldn't resist!! We all throw these away but why not turn them into something useful. I made mine into a box for my packets of seeds, but it could be made for recipes and a lot of other things, suggestions welcome thanks (as long as its not to throw it in the bin cause its rubbish) lol

I covered it with Gesso first then painted with Acrylic paint and sprayed with Mica based paints. The embellishments are stamped flowers onto a paper I had made then covered in clear embossing powder. The letters are coloured grungeboard, I made some dividers from record cards and hand drew veggies (had no stamps for those) words are stamped. A bit of glitter and a few accent beads and its done. I think the lid needs a little something its a bit bland but other than thats "jobs a goodun"
